It's A New Day

Many of us have damaged our bodies in one way or another by the time we reach my age.

All we can do about it is love ourselves where we are at; and do the best we can with what we have left.

Yes Rose, we need to love and accept ourselves as we are - right now. Where we are - body & soul - is a conglomeration of everything we have been and everywhere we have gone and everyone who we have touched or touched us.

Make sense? LOL

It makes a lot of sense. You are so "right on". Thanks.

Happy Valentine's Day! Are you doing anything special today? I have finished giving out my little love tokens for this year - have invited my granddaughter and her boyfriend to supper - a special valentine meal.

Yep - lunch with a special friend! Have received a special valentine song from someone who is "new" in my life.

I'm just celebrating "every" love today - family, friends, loves lost, etc.

Enjoy your meal! Like you, I also like to cook & bake as showing my love.

Yay for DW! And Ladies, *phew* are you ever right on with this one. My body....and bits of my mind carry scars upon scars....but they are what make me who I am.

Emotionally and Spiritually, I wouldn't change a thing....Physically?

If I'd a known I was gonna live this long, I'd have taken much better care of myself.

Guess that's what makes us all so colorful in our old age - like those beautiful trees whose foliage has been replaced by Character. heh
